How An Ear Massage Works

In the upper part of auricle, there is a point which the Chinese call "the gate of heaven" or "gate of the spirit."

Stimulating this point with gentle pressure helps against stress, pain, depression, inflammation, allergies, anxiety, and addiction. The Shen-Men is strictly speaking an acupuncture point. If you now use your fingers instead of an acupuncture needle, this is called acupressure.

How does an ear massage work? - It is effortless!

Gently press the Shen-Men point, which is located on the ear, with your finger! To do this, reach behind your auricle with your index finger and press the point with your thumb at the front! Massage it gently by moving your fingers in a circular motion over the skin of your ear! It is best to massage the Shen-Men point once or twice a day for about one minute.
